Abstract

Bronchial asthma refers to chronic diseases and is dangerous not only by itself but also by the influence on the heart, blood vessels and, of course, the respiratory system.

Bronchial asthma is one of the most widespread severe diseases that have a significant medical and social significance. Hardly controlled severe asthma reduces greatly the quality of life of the patient and it usually occurs in 5-10% of patients in the world. In Eastern Europe, it is observed in 20-30% of patients.

Asthma may appear because of the hypersensitivity of the organism to the allergens in the environment. During the attack, the patient responds to breathing due to spasm of the bronchi, swelling of the mucous membrane and increased secretion of mucus in all branches of the bronchial tree. As a result, the lungs are not saturated with oxygen enough, and there is a gasp.

Most articles about bronchial asthma do not answer for one simple question – is the disease curable? If so, under what conditions can this be achieved?
